AirAsia Zest, The Right Way to Fly

If you could go to any place in the world at this very moment, where would you go? Would you hit local shores and kick it right here in the motherland? There's plenty of beautiful sights to see in the Philippines. We do have 7,107 islands after all. Or would you be a little more adventurous and let your curiosity take you to an international destination?

Thanks to AirAsia and Zest Air's new partnership, you don't have to keep dreaming any longer.

Kichitora of Tokyo

It was another eventful Saturday for +Mykee and me. We had a bunch of activities planned for the day. I'll get into that on another post. For breakfast, (well, brunch technically because even though it was noon, it was the first meal of the day for both of us) we wanted to get something nice and warm. It was a rainy day, which meant that the weather was perfect for ramen. Without knowing anything about the place, we headed straight to Kichitora of Tokyo for our fix.

"Arigatou gozaimasu!" said the staff in unison upon entry and exit.
Not gonna lie, I like it when Japanese restaurants do that.
It makes me feel important haha!

Órale! Taqueria Mexicana

Ask me what my favourite Mexican restaurants are, and Órale's sure to shoot up the list. It's been around for two years, give or take. Fairly new, but with a good following to boot. I've heard patrons say that it's as authentic as one can get without having to fly to Mexico for a filling meal.

Yabu: The House of Katsu

Last Saturday was a treat, and I mean that in the most literal sense. My boyfriend +Mykee and I got to go to our first private food tasting. We're suckers for Japanese food. Both of us rate it as our favourite cuisine. So you could imagine just how happy and excited our stomachs were when we found out that we'd be trying out Yabu at Alabang Town before anyone else would.

Waiting for tonight, woah! I've dreamed of this love for so long!

The Dog Spa and Hotel

If there's one thing you have to know about me, it's that I love dogs. There's no other pet that cuddles up to you, greets you with smiles and excited barks, and loves you unconditionally as much as a dog. It doesn't matter how long you've been away or how bad of a day you've had. Your dog will always be there to cheer you up slobber you with kisses when you get home.

Hey, I just met you. No really, I saw this random husky after a day at the gym
and immediately ran up to him for a big hug. :)

Hello

It's been a while since my last blog. Two years, if we're counting. You can find remnants of it over at Everywhere We Eat. I stopped blogging because I had a lot of things to fill up my plate. I graduated school and got my first job as an art director at a big 'ol fancy advertising agency. It took up most of my time. When I had gotten around to getting Instagram, micro-food blogging filled up my friends' feeds, much to their entertainment/dismay.

Fast forward to 2013, I'm now a streetwear designer for a big brand based in the US. And now that I've got a better hold of my schedule, I do believe that I could start posting again. With so many good food joints opening up in the city, and the endless art events going around, it was hard not to write at all.

Hello, my name is Dylan. Thank you for visiting my blog.
I hope you enjoy your stay.
