The Dog Spa and Hotel

If there's one thing you have to know about me, it's that I love dogs. There's no other pet that cuddles up to you, greets you with smiles and excited barks, and loves you unconditionally as much as a dog. It doesn't matter how long you've been away or how bad of a day you've had. Your dog will always be there to cheer you up slobber you with kisses when you get home.

Hey, I just met you. No really, I saw this random husky after a day at the gym
and immediately ran up to him for a big hug. :)

I've got to admit though, owning a dog isn't the easiest thing in the world. You've got to feed, walk, clean after, train, and of course groom him. I've tried many dog grooming companies in the past. Most of them cost a steady Php300 to 500. I've got a small toy breed, so grooming cost is moderate. I spend more for her medication and special diet as she's come to have a kidney problem with old age. Out of all the facilities I've tried, there's one place that I keep coming back to, and that's The Dog Spa and Hotel.

They carry a good line of services from brushing your beloved canine's chompers to fur trimming to (believe it or not) pawdicures (completely safe and non-toxic paw polish, of course). Their facilities are cool, clean, and fresh-smelling too. I know how some dog groomers have insufficient ventilation, which makes it hard for the customers to stay longer than 10 minutes inside a cramped space.

Fully stocked shelves of food and grooming supplies.

A nice spacious air-conditioned waiting area.

What sets The Dog Spa apart from other establishments is the latter part of its' name, the "Hotel". When you go off to a far trip out of the city, and can't bring your pooch along, they have homey facilities to keep your pets in check.

They'll tend to your pets like you were never away in the first place.

They also have adequate room for the grooming services. There's a glass window that separates the grooming area so you can see just how they clean your pet.

The grooming area.

And after about an hour or so, they'll text your mobile and let you know that your dog is ready to be picked up, all nice and clean! It's very convenient because you can take a walk around a nearby mall while you wait, and not worry about how your pet is doing.

Here's my 12-year old shih tzu, Cassie, after a full groom.
I asked for a puppy cut 'cause I like it when her paws look like marshmallows. :)

If you want to have your pets groomed and taken care of at a place you can trust, give The Dog Spa and Hotel a try. They have seven branches around the metro.
